Lever / handle stands up 7/16"
Locking shaft / metal pin protrudes 9/16"
Lock mounting area: 5/8"x1.0"
Throw (travel of lever and pin) is about 5/16"
Lever / handle stands up 12mm
Locking shaft / metal pin protrudes 15mm
Lock mounting area: 15x26mm
Throw (travel of lever and pin) is about 11mm
This is a spring loaded canopy lock / latch
which is ideal
for canopy, battery compartments or access hatches.
To install, I "guesstimated" (eyeballed it) and cut the slot with a razor blade.
The metal pin is long enough you don't have to be exact.
Prepared epoxy (used balsa bits as spacers where necessary)
Stuck it in there, held it in place for 5 minutes and was done.
Doesn't take long at all.
Drilling a hole (if needed) in the canopy was super easy.
